Many people remember the problems with payment through Qiwi at the beginning of this year because Qiwi has launched an algorithm to detect suspicious charges. Now, this algorithm in the payment system is running again, so we decided to remind you of what’s what so that you know what happens to your finances in case of difficulties.
So, the algorithm works like this:
– the system identifies the payment as suspicious;
– then, the payment is frozen and sent for additional verification.
What does this mean for you and me?
1. It does not matter if the wallet has a long history of payments, verified or not – any price which seems suspicious to the payment system can be stopped, with the criteria for selecting amounts as “suspicious” being known only to Qiwi.
2. If the payment is still stopped – it does not affect your Qiwi Wallet – you can continue to use it.
3. In the case of stopping the payment – the system sends it to a check, which will last up to 48 hours. But in our experience, a review usually takes several hours and covers only 1-3% of payments. If validation is successful – the price will reach the recipient; if not – it will return to your account.
About the work of our service:
If you change funds from Qiwi and your payment was stopped – follow its status. If, after checking, it still passes – write to us in the support chat, and we will restore your application and carry out the exchange.
